My client, an MSP who have recently expanded to Manchester, are looking to add a 1st Line Helpdesk Support Engineer to their growing team. You will have proven experience supporting Windows Desktop and MS Office and some exposure across Windows Server, Exchange Server and Office 365. Experience of any of the following would be highly beneficial: Server Backups, IP Telephony, Virtualisation (mainly VMware), TCP/IP networking, Mimecast, Cisco Umbrella.
The is a role where you will get the opportunity to work on a variety of technical issues covering Desktop, Server, IP Telephony and networking across a range of technologies. Previous experience on a Helpdesk / Service Desk or in another IT Support role is expected and candidates must be able to demonstrate Desktop support skills along with some Windows Server knowledge.
As this will be a customer facing role, it is key that you are a confident communicator able to deliver efficient support with accuracy and attention to detail on a busy Service Desk.
