1st line Technical Support Analyst - Networks
1st line Technical Support Analyst with a good networking understanding (TCP/IP, WAN Switching, VPN) within a Windows/Unix environment required. Network accreditations such as CCENT, CCNA or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
NOTE: This role covers 24/7 shifts.
- Provide technical support on covering TCP/IP, WAN Switching, VPN, DSL topology – Data network, primarily Cisco based.
- Undertake detailed diagnostic and troubleshooting routines.
- Owning incidents to resolution or escalate to senior technical team.
- Manage faults within service level agreements
This role is primarily networks focussed, so only candidates who possess a demonstrable experience troubleshooting networking issues and who have ideally had training or gained appropriate networking certifications such as CCENT, CCNA or Network+ will be considered.
