Job Description
2nd Line Cisco Network Support Engineer required to work in an onsite team for a major managed services company to provide 2nd line support. You will be interfacing directly with the service desk and maintaining the incident and problem management process. It is essential you have a valid CCNP certification.
You will have considerable Cisco support and configuration experience on a network operations environment and it is essential you have a valid CCNP qualification. A solid understanding of network technologies and protocols is essential (e.g. DSL, MPLS, FTTC, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, WAN routing and switching), ideally with Cisco Call Manager experience.
The role will focus on the provision of complex diagnostic / technical fault resolution services and support in line with set SLA’s to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
My client offers a fantastic working environment with the basic salary in the region of £33-36,000 depending on experience, plus a bonus, competitive pension contribution and access to an excellent benefits scheme.
