My client, an MSP who have recently expanded to Manchester, are looking to add a 2nd Line Helpdesk Support Engineer to their growing team. You will have proven experience supporting Windows Desktop and MS Office and a strong understanding across Windows Server, Exchange Server and Office 365, TCP/IP networking. Experience of any of the following would be highly beneficial: Server Backups, IP Telephony, VMware ESXi, Veeam backup & replication, TCP/IP networking, Mimecast, Cisco Umbrella.
The is a role where you will get the opportunity to work on a variety of technical issues covering Desktop, Server, IP Telephony and networking across a range of technologies. Previous experience on a Helpdesk / Service Desk or in another IT Support role is expected and candidates must be able to demonstrate Desktop support skills along with strong Windows Server knowledge.
As this will be a customer facing role, it is key that you are a confident communicator able to deliver efficient support with accuracy and attention to detail on a busy Service Desk.
