Job Description
Major UK firm requires an ITIL accredited IT Service / Business Continuity Manager to join the team as they embark on a major transformation project.
Joining the project at a key phase you will have the responsibility and challenge to plan and develop the strategy, policy and processes needed to underpin the business continuity strategy and its needs. You will work with IT Service Owners and ensure that all IT Recovery plans are in place, fit for purpose and audited. You will take ownership of key artefacts including:
- ITSCM strategy, policy and plans
- ITSCM testing schedule, reports and reviews
- SLA / OLA for IT Service recovery.
My client are looking for an experienced Service / Business Continuity Manager with proven experience developing and designing similar strategies and plans. You will be an excellent communicator and leader with strong influencing and third party management skills. A technical background is required within areas such as Windows, VMware, SQL, IIS and Networking as you will be regularly working alongside IT colleagues. It is essential that you have solid experience within ITIL and ideally are accredited to a minimum of foundation level.
