Key skills: Software Developer, .NET Developer; C# Developer, .NET, SQL Server
Learn: API development, TDD, Cloud Technologies (e.g. AWS, Docker, Azure) and .NET Core
As a C# Developer, you want to learn new technologies, techniques, methodologies and anything else imaginable in order to satisfy one’s craving when it comes to learning. Unfortunately, a lot of companies want a “bum on a seat” and aren’t so keen on finding someone hungry and ambitious…
I’m fortunate to be working exclusively with a company that not only relies on its IT Department, but is keen to invest in people. Right now, the current Lead Developer maintains and extends existing systems (enterprise/middleware-type applications, multithreading and more), as well as the testing, validation and deployment – it’s enough for him to handle but he’ll struggle to add other areas into the tech road map without compromising the value he adds.
So, he wants to add someone that has a good grounding in C#, .NET Development and SQL Server databases that wants to learn and implement the following:
- .NET Core
- Cloud Technologies such as AWS, Docker, Azure
- Continuous Integration, TDD and automated deployments
- API Development
If you’ve mastered some of the above, then great, but if you have no expertise of them and want to learn them, then don’t hesitate to apply and find out more.
The company is international yet with a close-knit UK Development team. You won’t deal with office politics across their global operations but you will have a valued opinion about the tech road map and be trusted to work on new projects that will benefit the business. A starting salary of £45,000-50,000 is on offer, as well as a bonus scheme, flexible working hours and home-working.
