.NET Developer / Software Engineer (C#, ASP.NET MVC/ .NET Core)
You’ve worked with C#, ASP.NET (MVC/.NET Core) and SQL Server for a year or two now, but you’ve gone as far as you can in your current role; you want to become more established in the team but it’ll cause an imbalance, and you don’t want to hang around as the company’s junior dev for much longer. So, I have a job where you’ll enter as a valued, mid-level developer and be given autonomy to work on new projects.
You’ll get to work on a variety of web applications; some focus on ASP.NET Web API and building services, others use ASP.NET Core 2.0/2.1…the main thing that they want in a candidate is eagerness to learn and a desire in digesting the latest tech. If you want to work with cloud technologies (e.g. Azure), learn more about unit testing or spend time researching ways to improve a project, then they offer it all and it’s worth you delving further into this opportunity (that is, if you’re still reading)…
It’s a privately-owned company that’s a big player in their sector, which is not particularly relevant for a software developer, but they are profitable and invest a lot in their technology department. I have a very good relationship with one of their senior developers and he speaks very highly of the environment, culture and opportunity to learn. They don’t work to ridiculous timescales to deliver or ship out code – you are given the time that you need, not what the stakeholder demands.
If you want a developer job with the latest tech in a close-knit, friendly team of experienced developers, simply apply and we’ll discuss the company and opportunity in more detail.
