IT Support Engineer / Technical Analyst (Active Directory, Networking) required to join an in-house IT Department of an established firm in Crewe. Working as part of a small IT Team you will be responsible for managing the day to day infrastructure, troubleshooting problems and acting as a lead on project work. You will possess excellent customer support skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues of all grades and levels of IT literacy.
This is an exciting positon in which you will operate as the Head of IT’s “deputy” and in time grow into a more senior position. In terms of technical skills, my clients is looking for an all-rounder and somebody who has experience of:
- Windows and Linux (Ubuntu / Centos)
- Virtualisation – (VMware or HyperV)
- Exchange, Active directory, IIS
- DNS, DHCP
- Firewalls (ASA)
- Setting up and configuring VPNs
- Information Security principles and ISO27001
Within this role you will support circa 100 users based across the UK. Travel isn’t expected but the odd occasion may arise in which you will need to visit the wider business.
