IT Support Engineer / Technical Support Analyst

IT Support Engineer / Technical Analyst (Active Directory, Networking) required to join an in-house IT Department of an established business based in Burton Latimer near Kettering. Working as part of a small IT Team you will be responsible for managing the day to day infrastructure, troubleshooting problems and acting as a lead on project work. You will possess excellent customer support skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues of all grades and levels of IT literacy.
This is an exciting positon in which you will operate as the Head of IT’s “deputy” and in time grow into a more senior position. In terms of technical skills, my clients is looking for an all-rounder and somebody who has experience of:
- Virtualisation – (VMware or HyperV)
- Windows OS
- Exchange, Active directory, IIS
- DNS, DHCP
- Firewalls (ASA)
- Setting up and configuring VPNs
- Information Security principles and ISO27001
Based in Burton Latimer this role is easily commutable from Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden and Northampton.
