My client, a fast growing pharmaceutical company, are seeking a hands on IT Support Engineer with proven experience of Virtualisation (VMware and/or Hyper-V), Windows Server 2008 / 2012 and Microsoft Exchange. As the sole in-house IT Engineer no one day will be the same and your duties will range from managing the Helpdesk system and responding to tickets to liaising with 3rd party suppliers to ensure the company is running efficiently.
·Troubleshooting applications and hardware.
·Application and service deployment and updates.
·Desktop, Server and VM installation and configuration
·Helpdesk ticket monitoring
In this role you will be the “go to” on everything IT support related within an internal environment, therefore they require a technically minded professional who can work in a diverse role.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer / Administrator / Analyst / Technician who, as a minimum has demonstrable experience configuring and supporting VMware / Hyper-V, Windows Server 2008 / 2012 and Microsoft Exchange Server.
