Job Description

Lead AWS DevOps Engineer

Key skills: Lead DevOps Engineer, Head of DevOps, Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS, Amazon Web Services, EC" S3, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Splunk, Grafana, ELK

AWS DevOps Engineers…you’re more in demand than .NET Developers. It’s true.

If you’re a DevOps Engineer and feel you are worth of progressing to Senior/Lead job title, in which you’ll effectively be the Head of DevOps”, then you’re reading the right ad.

You’ll know your AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, ELB) and cloud provisioning (Terraform, Ansible, Packer), as well as distributed systems, logging and monitoring (e.g. Splunk, Grafana). You’ll join at a time where they have a DevOps practice in place yet they need to bolster it with more experience. So, with your help, they’ll further expand the infrastructure (people and systems). After that, you’ll be Head of DevOps and will have been part of something truly special.

Alas, you’re bored of reading ad after ad for DevOps Engineers because you’re already performing that role, but this is “Level 2” in your DevOps career.

For more info, including a more “techy” job spec and a history on the company, make an application and I’ll make time to talk to you. Salary is to £70,000 and package includes bonus, home-working, team bonding away days (during work hours) and you’ll work with people that enjoy each other’s company as much as their job responsibilities.
