My client are a well-established UK technology firm who provide networking, wireless, security, telephony and cloud solitons to variety of companies.
They are looking to recruit a Network Support Engineer who will be part of their home based 1st line support team. This is a challenging and rewarding positon which will see you working supporting a variety of kit from vendors such as Cisco, Mitel, Juniper and Extreme. Working remotely you will be responsible for diagnosing and assessing faults and issues, managing customer expectations and working with colleagues to fix and resolve issues. The role will also involve project work including planning, installations and upgrades.
We are looking for candidates who have already gained commercial experience of a Network focused support role. You will ideally have made efforts to obtain industry recognised qualifications such as a CCNA and possess excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI 7 layer model. This role will see you working directly with key clients and therefore solid communication and stakeholder management skills are expected. Working as part of a 24/7 team this role will include night shifts. Equipment and training is provided.
