Globally recognised firm is looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst to join their team in Northampton. Working as part of a fast paced IT Support team you will be responsible for resolving technical issues relating to Desktop, Server, networking and telephony issues. You will also support colleagues on project work relating to upgrades, refreshes and rollouts. A broad technical skill set consisting of Exchange, Active Directory and Cisco products is essential. Other experience required includes call management / logging systems, backups and disaster recovery and security, vulnerability and malware threat prevention.
This role would be well suited to a strong problem solver, excellent communicator and somebody who has demonstrable 2nd Line desktop / helpdesk / service desk experience. ITIL knowledge (Or certifications) is essential as are excellent organisational and team working skills.
Initially a 6 month contract this position could well likely roll on. The contract is office based but due to poor transport links a full UK driving licence and vehicle is essential. Commutable locations include Northampton, Wellingborough, Daventry, Kettering, Market Harborough and Corby.
