Hands on IT Manager / Senior IT Engineer required to join a growing and profitable Northampton based business. Operating within this standalone role you will be the main point of contact for all things IT including supporting and training users, planning and delivering projects and scoping out improvements and enhancements to the infrastructure.
You will enjoy a very varied position and have responsibility for all kinds of IT software and Hardware including Azure, Active Directory, POS and CCTV systems and Cisco routers and switches. As well as managing the IT infrastructure you will build relationships with third party suppliers and partners and play a key role identifying new initiatives and products to benefit the company.
The role would be mostly based at the head office in Northampton however project work or incidents may require you to visit other sites. Site travel will be paid for and hybrid working options is something the client is happy to discuss.
Candidates wishing to apply will ideally have similar experience managing the IT infrastructure within small to medium sized business. Candidates from larger environments or MSPs are very welcome to apply however there would need to be the appreciation that this is a varied and broad role where you will be the main point of contact for all things IT.
